A last-mile logistics company needed to restructure and refinance its fleet to execute a growth plan and prepare for public markets within 24 months — while interest rates climbed. We sourced the lenders, built the materials, led diligence and negotiation, and secured a long-term lending relationship.
A client wanted to execute a special-situation investment and acquire the largest BPO and third-party service provider to the US retail energy industry. We built the strategy around deregulated and renewable retail energy, assembled the full ecosystem, and structured a two-phase investment approach.
Ground-up ideation, strategy and leadership for a sponsor-backed distributed generation battery storage developer covering the NY Tri-State area and New England — assembling developers, technology providers, engineering, legal and project structuring, then positioning the platform for disposition to a long-term asset owner.
The Founder
Dustin Muscato founded the firm to do the thing he kept wishing his own advisors would do: sit on the same side of the table and stay there after the close.
He has managed investments in and provided strategic counsel to more than 50 companies across private equity, private credit, project finance, engineering and executive leadership. He launched a debt investment strategy from scratch and deployed $250M into 26 companies, and built an energy investment strategy from the ground up that acquired the largest BPO provider to the US retail energy industry.
He began his career as an electrical engineer, which is why the technical diligence gets read as carefully as the credit agreement.
